Apron Care Guide

Keep Your Tasteless Baker® Apron Looking Fresh

Whether you're deep in dough or just drizzling the good stuff, your apron deserves some TLC. Here’s how to keep it clean without killing the vibe.

Spot Removal

If there is a stain that you wish to remove but do not want to put the entire garment into the wash, follow these methods.

Gently apply vinegar to the stain. Use a cloth or a paper towel to blot the stain out. Continuously blot and avoid rubbing. If you are unable to completely remove the stain, move onto the next method.

Do not use bleach or stain removers as this might affect the colour of your garment and definitely avoid soaking your garment in water solutions as it may affect the colour of your garment.

Machine Wash

Place your apron into your washing machine separate from other garments and wash only on a cold cycle with only a little bit of detergent. Once finished, line dry the apron until it is completely dry. Avoid tumble drying as this may cause garment shrinkage.

Pro tip: Tie the apron straps in a loose knot before washing to prevent tangling.

Drying & Ironing

Air drying is always the safest and kindest way to treat your apron. It helps prevent shrinkage and fading, while keeping the fabric looking its best. If you’re in a rush, tumble drying on a low heat setting is fine—just skip the high heat unless you’re aiming for the world’s tiniest apron. For wrinkles, a quick iron on medium heat (reverse side is best) will do the trick.

A Note From Us

To make your apron last longer and keep it looking fab, steer clear of bleach, dry cleaning, high heat drying, and soaking for long periods. These harsh methods can damage the fibres, strip colour, and shorten the apron’s life.

Don’t stress over a perfectly clean apron. Some smudges, smears, and floury fingerprints are badges of honour. Your Tasteless Baker® apron was made to live a little. The more you wear it, the more character it gains—and honestly, it looks better with a bit of a backstory.
